trace

to the left- this is trace probably a little before his first birthday- he's in foster care and obviously doing well at this point.
to the right- this is an adorable picture of trace, probably taken in the latter part of 2004 or early 2005. since he's in southern china, he's leaning against a palm tree. he's in for a big surprise when he comes home in the winter and gets to wear a coat, mittens and a hat so that he can have the pleasure of trudging through snowdrifts!


to the left- this is trace over the summer of 2005. (i haven't the foggiest idea who the man is in the background.) you can sort of see the scar that runs down his chest from his open-heart surgery in march of 2004.





above is trace is on july 19, 2006- so this is pretty much what he looks like right now. he's much bigger then jade (quite a bit heaver and several inches taller)- a fact that will serve him well with our little bundle to energy.

to the left is trace shortly after they found him- about 4 months old. so cute, isn't he? this is the picture that we have on our refrigerator in full size (8.5 x 11) that mother talks to when she's frustrated with something having to do with his homecoming :).
