day 1
a family of seven = 10 loads of laundry
= a very full grocery cart
= enough guns for all the boys
= one more leaf and one more chair at the table
= 17 more jade-fits every day (at least until she gets used to sharing the throne)
= more 4wheeler rides
= 2 jetlagged individuals (for whatever reason i have managed to avoid it this trip)
apart from jade's issues concerning trace's arrival we are doing pretty well. he is sleeping well, just not at the right times, and eating well (so at 4 this morning mother was cooking bok choy). he's had his first 4wheeler ride and had many gunfights with the older brothers.

I am so glad you're home! Kelsey, I can't believe you avoided jetlag. Back to school on Monday? Steve's been in Afghanistan for 10 days and due back tomorrow, so he'll have to catch up with all your postings. Looks like Trace will just fit right in with his brothers. Jade will get there. It's hard sharing "the throne". Please continue to let us know how your family of 7 is doing. Take care.
