trace

-we got highspeed satellite internet this week. it doesn't block the phone line which is good, but unfortunately, it is still not fast enough for the mass uploading of pictures. i promise i'll get some up by the end of the week :).
-poor trace had to go back to the health department today for another round of injections. he didn't get any shots in china because of his heart defect, but now that he has the ok from the doctor here, he's prime game for lots of pricks. poor kid.
-i am continually amazed at the magnitude of things when there are 7 people. the vast amount of laundry, the incredible amount of food and beverages consumed, the lack of room in the suburban when we go places, etc.
-we finally got trace a bike. he loves it... pictures are coming :).
-new vocab words: goodness! (oh so cute), go outside (hou an, mei mei go outside?!), ouchy, go bye-bye, gatorade... he is also starting to call us by our names (as apposed to titles xiao & da gege, jie jie, mei mei, etc). all are said with an accent that is kind of a mix between chinese, learning a new language, and three year old.
