i'm back :).

when i came home i was astonished how far trace's english had come... it's really good; virtually no chinese any more, besides the phrases that have become part of our vocabulary. he was very excited that i brought home more automan dvds, swords, a new automan mask and chinese fruit snacks. he doesn't know it yet, but i also bought an automan outfit for him.

on the 3rd of july, everyone but my jetlagged self went to see fireworks. everytime there was a green one, trace would yell his name. everytime there was a pink one, jade would yell her's. the next day, father and the boys bought LOTS of fireworks which they set off at home. they are what's pictured above. i would have taken more pictures, but it's hard in the dark :).
