jade is 4!
(notice the crown? both jade and trace got one on their respective birthdays from preschool. they both wore them all day today.)
today was jade's fourth birthday. to celebrate grandpa and grandma came over and we had spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and cake with ice cream. opening presents was a definite highlight of the evening (right behind cake creation and assembly)... jade ended up with a huge box of crayons, a set of teacups, a candyland game and lots of clothes, including a dress-up dress and hat from urumqi (trace got a hat too).
i owe you a couple videos... hopefully i will have time to upload those tomorrow.

today was the preschool trip to the pumpkin patch. after picking pumpkins, they celebrated october birthdays. jade was excited beyond belief...

by the old spigot in the yard
the first thing jade told her teacher at preschool is that i took pictures of them laying on the grass today :). it didn't turn out that well b/c they were squinting into the sun, but she was excited!we're HAPPY! (or hyper...)

yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of recieving jade's referral.
today is picture day at preschool, the cause of much excitement. since they were clean, i took the opportunity to get some of my own pix of them.
